Mountain State Blue Cross/Blue Shield switches to Merck-Medco, PAID Prescription Services.

Effective January 1, 2002, Mountain State changed carriers for their prescription programs. Pharmacy claims will no longer be administered by Claimspro. To fill a prescription through the Merck-Medco program, simply show your new identification card at your local pharmacy. You will be charged only the contracted co-payment, the same as in the past. There are no changes in benefits or covered medications. This change only affects the carrier who administers the claims. If your plan has a mail order program, you will be required to obtain Merck-Medco mail order forms. Please contact Linda Judge at The Cornerstone Group if you have questions or need assistance.
